...that I want to redecorate Ava's bedroom. Right now, it's still the same stuff that was in there from when she was a baby. Her room was never "babyish". The main "theme" was merely brown and pink. But, there are pictures I took of her when she was 6 months old that are framed and hanging in there. Her baptism dress and this other super sweet dress she wore (with a bonnet!!!) are also hanging in there. I am not thinking of any drastic changes, but I think it needs to grow with her. So, I am going to organize it and just move some things around. I would love to do a chalkboard wall, but I have read some reviews that it's kind of difficult (i.e. takes a lot of paint) which then makes it expensive. Plus, we removed her closet doors because she would get her fingers stuck in them and they were broken. I don't want to do a fabric covering, because that can get cheap looking really fast. (A little to "Design on a Dime" for my taste) I have to price doors, I suppose...
Not to mention, her toys/clothes need to be sorted - Christmas is approaching after all and I want to purge some of her stuff before she accumulates more! :)
Her walls are a chocolate brown and her furniture is white. She has "dot" stickers all over walls (and her dresser and bed)...I like that theme. Very fun. Her bed is her crib that we converted into a toddler bed, but she will need to move to at least a twin size by Christmas - I am thinking IKEA? Maybe - I don't know...if you have any opinions, they would be appreciated!
