If anyone reading this has ever "partied" at or attended SIUC (Southern Illinois University Carbondale) they are all too familiar with Winston and his famous "Winston Bagel".  I can vouch that they are, without a doubt, the best bagels you have ever sunk your teeth into.  Winston, this lively old man who has stories that sound like he ripped them off from the Reader's Digest has been serving up bagels for years.  He has a grill that he uses to grill the bagels first.  If you get one with "everything", it includes (if memory serves me correctly) butter, garlic salt, sunflower seeds, cream cheese, apple slices, and cinnamon.  There might be other ingredients, but they escape me at this moment.  Winston is an SIUC staple. Everyone knows (and LOVES!) him.  I can't wait for Homecoming to have one of his mind-blowing bagels.  Good to see he is still around.  (FTR, he was once homeless and somehow scrounged up the money to start selling these.  He has made the money to send himself to Paris and other areas of the world.)  Winston. ROCKS.
