THIS

As a Catholic, I applaud this.  I truly believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman.  However, I am really, really, really sick of people thinking, stating, writing, using it as a power piece that because I (and many others) believe this that I HATE gays.  Or, that I am intolerant.  No, I am not.  I do not hate gay people.  People very close to me are gay and I love them dearly.  I am not intolerant of them.  If anything, those who say that are intolerant and hate ME and MY BELIEFS.  Since when was it so unpopular to stand up for what I believe in?  Why, because I have a differing opinion, am viewed as a hateful bigot?  It breaks my heart.  It kills me to read about violence against anyone, GLBT included.  Christ loved everyone and as Catholics, we are taught to be the same.

I've come to the conclusion that I believe that everyone should have the "right" to be as miserable in a marriage as straight people. I've become very live and let live with that and abortion(another topic that I will NEVER EVER discuss!)
