I'm glad...

I am glad I chose a platform like Blogger (or blogspot, whatever you want to call it).  I've considered dumping this blog and joining Tumblr, because there are more people on it and it is more like a network.  It's easier to gain readers on that site, as well as meet new people.  But, lately in some of the blogs that I follow, I am noticing a trend of people NOT blogging or quitting their blogs altogether because they are sick of the criticism or that "there are more important things in life".  Of course there are more important things in life!  LIFE is more important than your blog.  I started blogging because I wanted a place to put my thoughts, my pictures, funny sayings/pictures I found online and chronicle what I have (and my family has) been up to.  I didn't start blogging to meet people or to gain followers.  I only have 10 followers and I think, out of those 10, only 2 read regularly. And, I am alright with that.

I won't be quitting this here blog.  I won't deal with drama.  I won't let my blog become what I THINK people expect it to be.  This is MY blog.  MY thoughts.  No one else.
