Happy Easter!

I hope the Lord has blessed you and your family today!!!  I also hope that you paused, at least for a moment today and thought about why we celebrate this holiday.  It's not about bunnies, nor candy, nor pretty clothes.  It's about the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On that note, we do attend church every Sunday at our former town's Roman Catholic church.  IT. WAS. PACKED. for the 7:30 AM Mass - we had to stand!  Oh well - I would rather have to stand at church than attend a church where no one attends.

The Girl woke up early and promptly found her Easter basket.  The Husband, Dzia Dzia and I weren't even in the room and she just casually walks up to me and says "Look what I found!"  So much for the Easter bunny visiting during church.  After church, we did her egg hunt - she had a blast!

One of the items in her basket from the Moose Lodge egg hunt yesterday was a bouncy ball (you know those super bouncers that are a bit bigger than a marble?)  Yeah, the dog promptly ate that today!  I hope he's alright!

Otherwise, it started raining this afternoon, it's nice and cool in the house, we had a great late lunch and we are just enjoying spending time together.  :)  I love holidays with my family.
